It took us a couple of years to find the right site, and then we commenced designing this three-generation family home for a long-time client of ICR Studio. It requires a great deal of trust to have someone design your home then invest significant money in a project like this. Our clients have placed that trust in us and have enlisted the QBSIT team to construct the home on their behalf.

The design process has been genuinely enjoyable. Having known our clients for many years, this journey has been one of discovery and fulfilment. Construction began in March with earthworks, followed by the installation of retaining walls and foundation walls. The pool structure is also complete and is awaiting the insert.

The QBSIT team is currently working on the shallow foundations as well as slab preparation, which includes incorporating services and heating. The superstructure is set to begin in October.
