This 440m2 concrete masonry home comprises of a three level open plan layout including an 'outdoor room', lap pool and media room. The steep site posed many challenges for both the design and building teams. To keep within the planning rules the house needed to be stepped down the hill whilst maximising the views and keeping a connection between living spaces and the outdoor zones. A high level of finish has been achieved with the use of good material choices and an experienced building team. Extensive views over the city and Waitemata harbour are to die for and the pool is heated and able to be used for twelve months of the year.
