Phil Shaw

Principal and founder of ICR Studio, Phil Shaw has a passion for functional environmentally responsive designs. He leads the design team to create innovative residential, commercial, workspace and industrial projects throughout New Zealand and the Cook Islands.

Phil has the industry experience to tackle complex briefs, working around design challenges with lateral thought and innovation. As a New Zealand Green Star Accredited Professional, Phil always looks for ways to incorporate sustainable design principles into his projects. Phil is also a professional member of the Designers Institute of NZ Inc. and continually involved with industry development.

When he's not working, Phil enjoys the outdoors: mountain biking and kayaking. He now spends time exploring and photographing exotic destinations around the world with his wife Suzanne.
